Eat Real Group

Research from the New England Journal of Medicine predicts that this will be the first generation of children to lead shorter and less healthy lives than their parents.

The Eat Real Group was formed following the screening of the challenging documentary, Cafeteria Man, that was shown on October 19, 2011 at Broughal Middle School in Bethlehem, PA.

We are committed to effect change in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities by bringing locally grown food into our schools and institutions.

The Eat Real Group currently has over fifty volunteers, including local farmers, K-12  and higher education school administrators, professors, teachers, nutritionists, physicians, nurses, food service management, activists, business leaders and concerned citizens that are working together.

It is a win for the health of our children and a win for the health of our economy.

Join us as we make transformative changes in the Lehigh Valley.
